I recently visited the city of Kouvola. The weather was supposed to be clear and so I decided to ride a bike along a new path that goes along the Kymi River in Kouvola. The path is not accessible by bike in many places so I did not get to ride along the river for the whole time. Also, the weather report was completely wrong and grey clouds filled the entire sky during that day and for the rest of the week. I intended to see if I could get some nice pictures of the river, but I decided to focus more on the urban structures like bridges and factories along the way. The grey skies and the deciduous trees with no snow yet made the scenes look pretty boring so I had to edit the pictures alot to make the colours seem a bit more interesting. Kouvola is known stereotypically as a boring and grey city so maybe the moods of these pictures are fitting. I also took pictures with black and white film, which I will show in a second part.
