Here are some pictures I took from the Kymi River in december at Kotka. The river freezes completely during winter, but because of warmer weather, it was still partially molten. The mouth of the river, which can be seen in the second and third picture, was already frozen. These were taken with Kodak Tri-X 400 film.

Thank you for this beautiful and calming pictures. I had to take a second look to see if they were b/w or if it was just nature’s way of getting rid of all colours – not quite sure yet! But so candid and soothing to look at!
