The Santalahti nature trail in Kotka is a path through the forest and coast of Santalahti. There are two paths to it. The shorter path leads to the coast and back, while the longer path goes more through the forest at Santalahti. I had been here multiple times during summer, and I wondered how good the trail is during winter. It seems that the trail is popular enough that it stays easily passable even in winter. The longer forest path is a bit more covered in snow, but still easily passable.
I took some pictures while walking through both the paths and from the frozen beach at the Santalahti resort. I got a new 28 mm lens in addition to my 50 mm lens that I had been using for my Pentax K1000. Some of these pictures are taken with the wider 28 mm lens and some with the 50 mm. The film I used was Kodak Tri-X 400, which I think might not be the best film for these landscape shots, but I bought alot of it a while ago so I will use it up.
