I went for a short trip to the Repovesi national park to take some pictures during early autumn. At Repovesi, there are some hills and lakes in the forest surrounding it. I arrived at the northern part during mid-day and only left after sunset. The color pictures are taken with a digital camera and black-and-white pictures are taken with film.
Some leaves had started to get their autumn colors. There was still a lot of green at this time and many trees in Repovesi are evergreen.

The first climb up was to the Hauklamminvuori hill, from where the Hauklampi lake would be visible.

Valkjärvi lake is one the largest lakes at Repovesi. At the coast, I heard the sound of an arctic loon. I later saw it near the coast but did not get a picture of it.

Olhavanvuori Hill has a viewing tower, and it is probably the highest spot in Repovesi. The sun was shining from a pretty bad direction for taking pictures, but I still tried.

As it was getting darker, I got to the coast of Olhavanlampi lake, from where the Olhavanvuori hill was visible. The sun did set when I was still getting back to my car, and I took the last pictures from the other side of the Valkjärvi lake after sunset.
