As leaves were taking their autumn colors, I wanted to take some pictures of the nice scenes the foliage created. For this post, I went for a bike ride from the city of Kouvola to the small town of Valkeala and took my film camera with me. The ride was between 25 km and 30 km from the city to the town, during which I took the following pictures.

Before getting to Valkeala, I rode through some other areas in Kouvola. I crossed the small Jokelanjoki river and visited the coast of the Lappalanjärvi lake.

In Valkeala, I first went to a small nature trail on the coast of the Lappalanjärvi lake.

After the trail, I rode a bit further past the Valkeala church and into the more rural area to the north, before turning back.
