During early winter when there had only been a day of snowfall that did not immidiately melt, I visited a nature near the Käyrälampi lake in Kouvola. This lake is close to a popular amusement park called Tykkimäki and the path of the trail starts at a beach that is part of the park. Here are some pictures I took from the trail. The color images are taken with a digital camera and the black-and-white images are taken with film.

At the beginning of the path, there was this old building in the forest.

The path went mostly through the forest, but there were a few places from which the Käyrälampi lake was visible.

At the end of the path, there was a small river and a bridge over the Immastenkoski rapids.

When I walked back to the beginning, I saw a few swans at the coast of the lake.
