Here are some pictures I took during a bike ride to the countryside near the small town of Joroinen in Eastern Finland. I had planned to ride a very long route from the town all the way to the Kolma lake in the countryside. Since I started much later than I had planned, I only rode a part of the planned route and used a car to get to the lake so I could get pictures from there during sunset. The light at the start of the trip was good for taking pictures, but as the sun went lower behind the hills and the trees, it was difficult to get a picture of anything in the shadow.

I started from near the town church and went through a path that I had previously walked through only during winter.

Once I had arrived back at the church, I drove further into the countryside to the coast of the Kolma lake. I had planned to ride a longer route, but because it started to get darker very fast, I cut the ride short and returned to the lake.
