In the city of Porvoo, there is a pretty looking old town on the coast of the Porvoo river. The river leads to the southern coast of Gulf of Finland. I took some pictures in Porvoo while I traveled from the old town to the southern coast and to the western part of the city. I arrived early in the morning near the old town just in time to take pictures in the nice morning light there. Here are pictures from the morning in Porvoo. The pictures from the rest of the day will be in a second post.

On the other side of the Porvoo river, there is a hill with a nice view of the old town. During summer mornings, the sun will shine from the direction of the old town so I did not take a picture of the town during this morning from the hill. I did take pictures from there in the day once the sun was in a better direction. Those pictures will be on the second post.
