Here are some pictures I took during two bike rides around places near the city of Varkaus. The first pictures are from the countryside near the town of Jäppilä. The second set of pictures is from the city of Leppävirta.

From the town of Jäppilä, I rode south along a dirt road for a few kilometers where I took the first pictures.

At the city of Leppävirta, I first rode along the roads near the coast of the Lake Unnukka to the south and then also passed by lakes at the northern part of the city.
