I took some pictures while riding a bike through a short trip at the countryside near the town of Viinijärvi in Eastern Finland. Most of Eastern Finland is forested area with small farms surrounded by forests. At the countryside near Viinijärvi, there are much less forests and the area looks more open than the usual rural scenes in Eastern Finland.
I started near a church in the town and rode quickly across the small town before getting to the countryside.

The views on the countryside road were pretty typical flat fields surrounded by forests. There is more open space here than in most rural areas in Eastern Finland that are much more forested.

Lastly are pictures of plants and forests from the town and the countryside.
