I took some pictures near the town of Liperi in Eastern Finland during winter. I walked from the coast of the Kirkkosalmi Bay near the church of Liperi, where I watched the sunrise, to a short trip trough the town and the countryside near it. Liperi has a few very small suburban ares surrounded by rural areas, and the path I took actually alternated between them.

During sunrise, I took a few pictures from the coast of the Kirkkosalmi Bay.

After a short walk from the coast, I got to the more rural areas. Some of the scenes were still in shadow of the forests since the sun was still low.
