Sunset at the Southern Coast of Hanko

The city of Hanko in Southern Finland is located at the southernmost part of mainland Finland. Near the city, there is a nature trail to the Uddskatan Nature Reserve where the actual southernmost part is. At the nature reserve there are nice views of the Baltic Sea from cliffs near the coast. I walked through this trail during early spring and took the following pictures from there.

The Tulliniemi nature trail that leads to the nature reserve goes along the coast of the Gåsörsbukten Bay. The beaches nearby gave a sense of warmth of summer even if the weather was still pretty cold.

The Uddskatan nature reserve consists of a small peninsula on the mainland and of the islands near the coast.

Near the southernmost part there are cliffs from where the surrounding sea is nicely visible. I waited there for a while to watch the sunset from the cliffs.
