The Ruissalo Island is a large island near the city of Turku in Western Finland and is connected to the mainland by a bridge. The island is very rural compared to the city it is right next to and has good dirt roads for cycling. There is pretty nature and buildings at the rural and coastal roads. I took the following pictures during a short cycling trip in the island in early spring.

I started my trip from near an estate during morning. While snow was already gone, it was cold enough that puddles would freeze in the night and stay frozen in the morning.

I also cycled on a road along the coast of the island where there was pretty nature and buildings. A port in the city is visible from the road and there are occasionally large ships passing by the island.
