Kuusisto is an island in the Baltic Sea near the coast of the town of Kaarina in Western Finland. I took these pictures of the rural area on the island while riding a bike through a part of it. The island has a suburban area near the bridge connecting it to mainland Finland. From there to north-east there is the rural area with farms and fields. The pictures I took are mostly of the rural landscape there.

I started my ride from a church in the rural area. From there is a road going in a circle around a part of the island. Most of the path is in the rural area, but you have to pass through the more urban area at one point.

The scenes along the road are of the fields surrounded by some forest until you get to the more urban area.

The coast is not very visible along the path I took. In the last picture the water is not a river but the Baltic Sea and on the other side is a part of the town of Kaarina. As you can see, the island is very close to the mainland.
