At the Vaarniemi nature reserve to the south of the city of Turku in Western Finland there is a short nature trail going around the nature reserve where I took these pictures. The nature reserve is a small area with a hill covered with forest. A trail going through the nature reserve starts from a nearby field and goes through the forest. The place is located on the coast and there is a nice view of the sea and islands from an observation tower at the hill. The trail is pretty short, but there are more nature reserves with trails to the north which connect to this one.
