A Walk on the Coast of Koskeljärvi Lake

The Koskeljärvi Lake in Western Finland has a nature trail going along a part of its coast. The trail goes from a wide path right next to the coast to a swampy forest near the coast. It does not go around the entire lake, so you have to walk the same route backwards to get back to the start. I took these pictures while walking through part of the trail during autumn. There is a nice view of the lake from the first part of the trail.

The part of the trail right on the coast is very easy, since its a flat and wide path. The lake is a popular resting and feeding place for birds and there were many partially eaten fishes on the path that were drobbed there by the birds.

The part of the trail going through the forest is a bit more difficult. It is still flat, but its basically a swamp with dense forest.
