The Vaskijärvi nature park in Western Finland consists of a swamp and surrounding forest near the Vaskijäri Lake. There is a trail going around the park, which goes through the forest and part of the swamp in Vaskijärvi. I took these pictures while walking through the trail in autumn. Most of the trail goes around the swamp and through the forest surrounding it. The part of the trail going through the actual swamp is very short.

The autumn leaves did make parts of the forest look very pretty, but it is still just a very typical forest.

There were only a few parts of the trail where you got to see the swamp. Some of the duckboards were really old and not well in place. There was a pile of brand new ones at one part of the trail, so I assume the old ones are going to be replaced soon.
