Testing Some Film

Recently I found my grandfathers old Pentax ME film camera that I wanted to test out. Unfortunately the light meter was broken and since the ME is an automatic camera with no manual control for the shutter speed, it was broken. I still had the working lenses and wanted to try shooting some film so I got a working Pentax K1000 that I tested out. It also turns out that the local film store does not develop black and white film. I don’t want to send my film to some other city everytime I need it developed because that would be expensive, so I got the equipment to develop the film by myself.

Here are some of the pictures that I took and developed using Kodak Tri-X 400 film with the Pentax K1000 camera. I made a few mistakes while developing the film that caused many of the pictures to be completely ruined. The room I developed these in was not perfectly light sealed and I failed to load the film properly. I can fix these issues for the next time I develop film and I still got a few pictures that I liked from this roll.
