During a few days long visit to a town near the city of Pori, I went to photograph the nature near Lake Joutsijärvi. This is a medium sized lake, which has a 30 km hiking trail going around it along its coast. Because I did not have time to go around the whole lake, I decided to visit a smaller nature trail, which is located near the beginning of the larger trail. This smaller trail goes from the coast of the lake to the forest near the Tammi camping center. Here are images I took from the trip. The color images are taken with a digital camera and black-and-white images are taken with a film camera.
I arrived at Lake Joutsijärvi early in the morning, when the sun was still behind trees. The path I took went trough the Tammi Camp Center and across the River Joutsijoki to the forest in Tammi.

The Tammi forest was pretty dense along the trail in many places. I had to basically walk through the bushes to in some places.

During morning, some fog was on the ground. This was visible in the smaller Ruonajärvi Lake, which was in the forest, and in an open area where logging had been done.

There were some other points of interest in the nature trail. At a swampy area, there was a small camping site. Along the coast of River Joutsijoki, there were buildings of the Tammi camping center.

At the end of the trail, I once again crossed the River Joutsijoki to get back to where I started.
